The third Borderless Challenge ended June 28, 2011. The winners will be listed here on or before October 1, 2011.

Test your knowledge of Cisco Borderless Networks solutions for a chance to win a trip for two to Acapulco, Mexico; Lima, Peru; or London, England with a free ticket to Cisco Live or Networkers. Your registration also makes you eligible to win one of a dozen cool gadgets: a Nintendo 3DS, a Flip camera, or the newest Linksys home networking router.

What Is it?
The Cisco Borderless Challenge is an online competition that tests your knowledge of Cisco Borderless Networks innovations. The challenge will be available in English, Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.

The Cisco Borderless Networks Challenge runs from June 6 to June 28, 2011.

Discover the latest Borderless Networks innovations:

  • Scale security policy across the network
  • Remove the complexity of deploying video
  • Control wired and wireless with unified management

How Does the Challenge Work?
View a 20-minute, on-demand video about Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Medianet, and Cisco Prime products presented by the TechWiseTV team and Ike Theodore (IT) Willis. In the latest animated film, our "superhero" Ike makes a new friend and saves the day again using Cisco technology.

Then answer multiple-choice questions about Cisco Borderless Networks in security, video, and management scenarios and provide your thoughts on the next Cisco technology innovation. The answers to the multiple-choice questions can be found in the video and the Challenge Resources section.

How Do I Win?
Finalists are selected from those who answer the most multiple-choice questions correctly. A team of judges will then select the grand prize winner based on the best idea for the next Cisco technology innovation. Hint: The last question (open-ended one) will be used to determine the grand prize winner.

What Is the Grand Prize?
The grand prize for the Cisco Borderless Challenge is a trip for two to a city hosting Cisco Live or Networkers. Included in the prize will be one free pass for the Cisco Live or Networkers event. After Cisco Live or Networkers, the winner can take some extra time to experience and explore the city and surroundings. The winner can choose any Cisco Live or Networkers event starting in September 2011 and ending in August 2012. If travel is not an option, the winner can select a borderless device as an alternate prize.

Additionally, 12 finalists will be awarded HD Flip cameras, Linksys E4200 Maximum Performance Dual-Band Wireless-N Routers, or Nintendo 3DS systems (U.S. versions of these products).

When Will I Be Notified If I Win?
Cisco will contact the winner within 60 days of the contest.
