This COP file provides the means for a 9.1.1 standalone ELM server installation to upgrade to 10.x or greater standalone PLM software. The COP file modifies the system so the install/upgrade operation will recognize a PLM software upgrade file with a version greater than the currently running ELM version. NOTE: This is only for 9.1.1 standalone ELM server installations. This does not affect any other deployment type. Installation Instructions: It is recommended that you apply this Update during off peak hours. You can install this COP file from a DVD (local source) or from a computer (remote source) that the server can access. Step 1: Download the cop.sgn file Step 2: Copy the file to a writeable CD or DVD or an ftp/sftp server. Step 3: Access the Enterprise License Manager by entering the following URL: http://server-name/elm-admin where server-name is the host name or IP address of the admin server. Step 5: Enter your User Name and Password. Step 6: Choose Administration > OS Administration: - select "Launch Cisco Unified OS Administration utility" - log into the "Cisco Unified Communications Operating System Administration" - go to Software Upgrades > Install/Upgrade -or- Choose Administration > Install/Upgrade Step 7: From OS Administration GUI, enter appropriate information and select "Next" -or- Select "Install/Upgrade Software...", then select DVD/CD or Network radio button, enter appropriate information and select "Next" Step 8: Select the appropriate COP file to install from the list OS Administration GUI is a pull-down list, else select the appropriate checkbox Step 9: From OS Administration GUI, select "Next", wait for the file to download, validate download succeeded, validate checksum, deedf0354455e4ceb772486985e5cc9e elm_Elm_v9_1_1_PlmUpgrade.cop.sgn and select "Next" again to start the install -or- Select "Start Installation/Upgrade" to start the install. Step 10: When the installation completes, verify the COP file version using the CLI command , show version active, and check that the installed COP file shows in "Installed Software Options"
