CCMP (9.x and above) Virtual Machine Hardware Configuration: There are four OVA files available for CCMP 9.x and supports ESX5.1. For Single Server Deployment (< 1500 Agents) with DB & Web Server on same machine or a Web Server in a two-tier deployment (< 8k Agents): UCCE_ccmp_single_vmv8.ova * 4 vCPU * 4 GB RAM * 1 vNIC * 1 vDisk: o vDisk 1 = 100 GB Operating system, application binaries, Database files (single server deployment) For a Database Server in a two-tier deployment (< 8k Agents): UCCE_ccmp_db_vmv8.ova * 8 vCPU * 8 GB RAM * 1 vNIC * 2 vDisk: o vDisk 1 = 100 GB GB Operating system, application binaries o vDisk 2 = 100 GB GB Database files For Web Server in a two-tier deployment (>= 8k Agents): UCCE_ccmp_web_large_vmv8.ova * 8 vCPU * 16 GB RAM * 1 vNIC * 1 vDisk: o vDisk 1 = 100 GB Operating system, application binaries For a Database Server in a two-tier deployment (< 8k Agents): UCCE_ccmp_db_large_vmv8.ova * 8 vCPU * 16 GB RAM * 1 vNIC * 2 vDisk: o vDisk 1 = 100 GB Operating system, application binaries o vDisk 2 = 200 GB GB Database files (this should be located on a dedicated disk). In the vSphere client, perform the following steps to deploy the Virtual machines. 1. Highlight the host or cluster to which you wish the VM to be deployed. 2. Select File > Deploy OVF Template. 3. Click the Deploy from File radio button and specify the name and location of the file you downloaded in the previous section OR click the Deploy from URL radio button and specify the complete URL in the field, then click Next. 4. Enter the name of the VM machine that you are creating and the location where it will be created 5. Choose the datastore on which you would like the VM to reside - be sure there is sufficient free space to accommodate the new VM, then click Next. 6. Verify the deployment settings, then click Finish. 7. Install CCMP following the CCMP installation guide.
