Cisco IOS Release 15.1(1) T or later are supported for Cisco 3925E devices. Cisco IOS Release 15.1(0.18) T or later are supported for Cisco 3945E devices. NMIDB Support ============= * NMIDB support is available from the package: nmidb.1.0.090.zip for Cisco 3925 and Cisco 3945 devices. Note:NMIDB won't be shipped with this release. DEVICE PACKAGE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ======================================== Before installing this package, NGMARShare.cv50.v1-18.zip (or later) package must be installed first, After downloading the package zip file Rtr3900.cv50.v5-1.zip from CCO to a temporary location (say '/tmp') in the server, do the following: For CiscoWorks on Solaris/Windows Server from GUI - CiscoView 6.1.X - From CiscoWorks homepage, Select Common Services > Software Center > Device Updates. The Device Updates page appears. - Select the check box corresponding to the CiscoView, then click Check for Updates. The Source Location page is displayed. You can check for updates at Cisco.com or at a Server. - To check for updates at Cisco.com: a. Select the Cisco.com radio button. - To check for update from a Server: a. The Device Package should be present on the Server. b. Select the Enter Server Path radio button. c. Enter the path or browse to the location using the Browse tab. Note: If the source location is Cisco.com, make sure the credentials are configured in the Server > Security > Cisco.com Connection Management > User Setup. - Click Next. The Available Packages and Installed Packages page is displayed. - Select the package name that you wish to update, then click Next. The Device Update page appears. You can choose to install device packages or download device packages. - To install device packages, select the Install Device Packages radio button. - To download device packages, select the Download Device Packages radio button. If you select Install Device Packages do the following: - Click Next. A summary of your inputs is displayed. - Click Finish. A warning message pops up to tell you that the daemons are restarted. - Click OK to continue with installation. If you select Download Device Packages, - Enter the folder in File Selection field or click Browse to select the folder. - In Scheduling pane, choose the Run Type (Immediate or Once), Date, and Time. - In the Job Info field, provide the Job Description and E-mail ID. For CiscoWorks on Solaris Server from CLI - CiscoView 6.1.x Issue the following command on the server to install the package. - /bin/PSUCli.sh -p cvw -install -src /tmp For example: /opt/CSOpx/bin/PSUCli.sh -p cvw -install -src /tmp Rtr3900 For CiscoWorks on Windows Server from CLI - CiscoView 6.1.x Issue the following command on the server to install the package. - \bin\PSUCli.bat -p cvw -install -src C:\tmp For example: C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\PSUCli.bat -p cvw -install -src C:\tmp Rtr3900 * For LMS 4.0 CiscoView on Solaris/Windows Server from GUI 1. From CiscoWorks homepage, Select Admin > Software Center > Device Updates. The Device Updates page appears. 2. Select the CiscoView check box, then click Check for Updates.
