From CiscoWorks homepage, Select Common Services > Software Center > Device Updates. The Device Updates page appears. 2. Select the CiscoView check box , then click Check for Updates. The Source Location page is displayed. You can check for updates at Cisco.com or at a Server. 3. Check for updates. - To check for updates at Cisco.com, select the Cisco.com radio button. - To check for updates from a server: a. Select the Enter Server Path radio button. b. Enter the path or browse to the location using the Browse tab. Note: If the source location is Cisco.com, make sure the credentials are configured at Server > Security > Cisco.com Connection Management > User setup. 4. Click Next. The Available Packages and Installed Packages page is displayed. 5. Select ASR9000.cv50.v3-0.zip and then click Next. The Device Update page appears. You can choose to install device packages or download device packages. - To install device packages, select the Install Device Packages radio button. - To download device packages, select the Download Device Packages radio button. If you select Install Device Packages do the following: - Click Next. A summary of your inputs is displayed. - Click Finish. A warning message pops up to tell you that the daemons are restarted. - Click OK to continue with installation. If you select download Device Packages, - Enter the folder in File Selection field or click Browse to select the folder. - In Scheduling pane, choose the Run Type (Immediate or Once), Date, and Time. - In the Job Info field, provide the Job Description and E-mail ID. * For CiscoView 6.1.X on Linux/Solaris/Windows Server from CLI After downloading ASR9000.cv50.v3-0.zip to a temporary location on the server (for example, "/tmp" for Solaris/Linux or "c:\tmp" for Windows), issue the following command to install the package: (Linux) /bin/PSUCli.sh -p cvw -install -src /tmp where NMSROOT is the directory in which CiscoView is installed. For example: /opt/CSOpx/bin/PSUCli.sh -p cvw -install -src /tmp Nexus7000 (Solaris) /bin/PSUCli.sh -p cvw -install -src /tmp where NMSROOT is the directory in which CiscoView is installed. For example: /opt/CSOpx/bin/PSUCli.sh -p cvw -install -src /tmp Nexus7000 (Windows) \bin\PSUCli.bat -p cvw -install -src c:\tmp For example: C:\Program Files\bin\PSUCli.bat -p cvw -install -src c:\tmp Nexus7000 * For LMS 4.0(or above) CiscoView on Solaris/Windows/Linux Server from GUI 1.
