The following describes our practices with respect to the Cisco WebEx Messenger (formerly, Cisco WebEx Connect) Service ("Service").
Personal Information Collected
Our servers automatically record certain information about your use of this Service such as account activity (e.g., storage usage, number of log-ins, actions taken and your IP address), data displayed or clicked on and other log information. We also retain Personal Information and other information uploaded, provided or created using certain Service features, including, 1) chat: chat history, participants, timing and presence detection; 2) contacts: name, address, email address, phone number, alias, picture, company, department, title; and website; 3) calendar widget: event, location, time, participants; 4) spaces: file name, size, access log, revision history, space name, participants.
Storage and Security of Personal Information
All such Personal Information unique to the Service is stored on our servers and on the computer utilized with the Service. If you use the Service from a public computer, such information will be stored on such public computer. Personal Information stored on the computer is protected using encryption technology. All messages sent in your chat session to and from your account, as well as the initiation and termination of any other communication modes such as voice or video calls ("User Actions") will be logged and are subject to archival.
Sharing Your Personal Information
In specific instances, when a third party wants to add you as a contact, your presence will be automatically made available to them. In addition, if your employer subscribes to this Service, your Personal Information will be made available to your employer. All User Actions defined the preceding paragraph may be monitored, or reviewed and/or disclosed to someone other than the recipient.
