Identity Services Engine Privacy Supplement

Note that this page is a supplement to the Cisco Privacy Statement available at http://www.cisco.com/web/siteassets/legal/privacy_full.html. In order to understand the data collection and use practices relevant for a particular product or solution, you should read both the Cisco Privacy Statement and any applicable supplement or service description.

The following describes our data collection and use practices with respect to the Cisco Identity Services Engine ("ISE").

Collection and Use of Information

(1) The Feed Service may collect the ISE administrator's contact information, including the ISE administrator's name, email address, and phone number, at the ISE administrator's option. The contact information will be used only to contact the ISE administrator for any issues pertaining to the ISE deployment. Cisco will not use the contact information for any marketing purposes, and Cisco will not resell or transmit this information to any third-party.

The ISE administrator's contact information is collected only when the ISE administrator opts in and activates the ISE Feed Service, and then affirmatively elects to provide his or her contact information. The ISE administrator is not required to provide his or her contact information when activating and registering the ISE Feed Service.

(2) The ISE administrator can configure ISE to send the ISE Feed Service usage report back to Cisco, which includes the following data:

  • "Hostname," which is the Cisco ISE hostname;
  • "MaxCount," which is the total number of endpoints connected to the customer's network;
  • "ProfiledCount," which is the total number of endpoints connected to the customer's network that have been profiled by the ISE Feed Service;
  • "UnknownCount," which is the total number of endpoints connected to the customer's network that have not been profiled by the ISE Feed Service;
  • "MatchSystemProfilesCount", which is the total number of endpoints connected to the customer's network that have profiles that are Cisco-provided; and
  • "UserCreatedProfiles," which is the total number of endpoints connected to the customer's network that have profiles that are user-created.

The ISE Feed Service usage report will be used by Cisco to evaluate and improve the Feed Service.

End User and Supplemental End User License Agreements

Your use of ISE is subject to the Cisco End User License Agreement and the Identity Services Engine Supplemental End User License Agreement.
