Improved flexibility is built into the framework that allows for publishing pages in the following configurations:
Note: Data driven pages (using CMT publishing system) and applications (CAMP) do not have the above page laout options/templates but standard page layout.
No Right Column Option in Standard Layout
Right column can/will be collapsed in this layout option if no content is inserted in that column. We strongly advise that you use this feature with care and only when your content requires wider page width. Here are some use cases that would demand a page with no right column:
- Product comparison tables or product code
- Wide tables can now be displayed taking advantage of the collapsed right column feature
- Large graphic introducing a concept (make sure you work with a visual designer on such images)
- Listing pages where there are two columns of links; in this case, more page width helps links not to wrap as much

- Users are completing a parallel task and need to have both windows open at the same time; in this scenario, the pop-up is used as "temporary focus".
- The pop-up is a step in the workflow and will be closed as the task is completed.
