Cisco Support Website: We're Listening, and Changing

Did you notice changes to the Cisco Support Website? If not, you may feel their impact on your next visit.

You and other users drove this message home: "Simplify our online experience, make it more productive, and save us time and clicks."

In response, we renamed home page labels to better reflect how you might express them, spotlighted content most in demand, reduced interface clutter, and rearranged links to pave a faster track to popular resources.

We also added:

  • More than 1000 synonyms to our product finder to increase likely matches
  • Search intelligence to help you avoid irritating "no results" pages
  • More useful suggestions when you do land on such pages
  • Fixes to the most troublesome broken links you helped identify
  • More precise links to relevant forum discussions on product support pages

You rightfully asked for a faster, smoother online ride – not an expedition. You should experience the difference in speed on the support website and across much of Cisco.com, re-engineered to shorten your page load times.

This summer we release fresh changes to further streamline the home page and enhance other site areas in ways you should notice.

We do not expect comments about a faster site or links that work as expected. But we want you to know that we are listening. Please take a closer look at the Cisco Support Website, and tell us what else we can do to make it "your technical support edge."
