Cisco Search 2.0 Goes Live

Cisco.com now offers a vastly improved Search experience. You have told us that Cisco support content is good, but it can be difficult to find what you need quickly. With a Website that receives more than five million searches per month, Cisco is following through on its commitment to customer satisfaction by improving search tools and results.

Besides delivering more relevant initial results, Cisco Search 2.0 provides new controls that enable you to refine and sort your results quickly, driving you to the most relevant content in less time and with less effort.

Cisco Search 2.0 offers these improvements and controls:

  • Keyword Auto Suggest – View keyword recommendations similar to what you type in, based on frequently searched terms.
  • Navigators and Filters – Segment your results by Site Area, Task, Document Type, Product, IOS Software, or Technology, with a single click.
  • Breadcrumb Controls – Get a clear view and understanding of the search filters you have applied, and remove unwanted filters, with a single click.
  • Sort by Date or Relevancy – Organize your results by relevancy or by published date, with a single click.

Visit the Support homepage today to try out the new Search engine. Simply enter a keyword in the Search box and click Go.
