Recent Updates to CCVP Curriculum
The CCVP certification curriculum was recently revised with updates specific only to the Implementing Voice Gateways and Gatekeepers (GWGK) and the Cisco IP Telephony (CIPT) courses and exams.
These updates include:
- A new Gateway Gatekeeper curriculum featuring expanded labs, and updates to the lessons on IP-to-IP gateways and RSVP.
- An expanded CIPT curriculum that includes a new exam for validating a Candidate's ability to install, configure, and support Cisco Unified CallManager Release 5.0 in a Cisco Unified Communications deployment.
Now candidates have a choice to achieve their CCVP. In addition to passing the CVOICE 642-432, IPTT 642-425, QoS 642-642, and GWGK 642-453 exam requirements, a Candidate will need to successfully pass either:
- CallManager 4.1: (CIPT1 and 2): exam 642-444, or
- CallManager (CIPT1 and 2) 5.0 Cisco 642-445

CCIE Central - UPDATE:
New Online Support Tool for CCIE
Cisco recently migrated CCIE support from the CCIE e-mail-based system to the Cisco Certifications Online Support tool. This new tool features an easily accessible and comprehensive database of commonly asked questions on CCIE, other Cisco Career Certifications, and training. You can search the database by certification or key word, and also set up automatic e-mail notification when new information is posted on a particular subject. If you cannot find an answer in the database, you can submit a request directly to the Cisco support team using the "Contact Me" button.
Note: The first time you submit a request, you will be asked to create a personal login profile, allowing you to track the status of your requests. The policy of responding to all CCIE support requests within two business days will not change.
