New Meeting Solution Offers
"In-Person" Experience

Cisco TelePresence is an innovative, new technology that creates unique, in-person experiences between people, places, and events--over the network.

The Cisco TelePresence Meeting solution delivers true life-size images, ultra-high-definition video (both 720p and 1080p), and spatial audio, which creates the dynamics of voices coming directly from the participants. This scenario creates a "room within a room" environment that makes you feel as if you are at the same table with people in remote locations. In addition to direct eye contact, the full-duplex, near-zero latency allows you to communicate in real time, catching every comment and every nuance of the conversation.

In addition, the Cisco TelePresence Meeting solution is designed to take advantage of the tools you use every day. It is integrated with both your enterprise groupware and unified communications system, so scheduling a Cisco TelePresence Meeting is as simple as sending a calendar invitation. When it is time for your meeting, scheduling information is displayed on the phone in the meeting room. Participants can select the meeting from the display to launch the call, whether you are meeting with one site or many.

CCIE Central - UPDATE:
New Security Lab to Open in Tokyo, Japan

On January 2, 2007, Cisco will begin offering the CCIE Security lab exam in Tokyo, Japan. To serve the growing number of worldwide candidates pursuing CCIE Security certification, Cisco now offers the lab exam in Beijing, China; Brussels, Belgium; Dubai, UAE; RTP, North Carolina; San Jose, California; Sydney, Australia; and Tokyo, Japan.

Online scheduling is now available for exams scheduled for January 2, 2007 and beyond.
