Cisco Output Interpreter - UPDATE:
Output Interpreter Now Integrated with Command Lookup Tool
The Cisco Output Interpreter will now explain your router or switch IOS configuration by linking commands in the configuration to the Cisco Command Lookup Tool. The Command Lookup Tool will provide a description of the command, an explanation of the keywords, and a configuration example.
This enhancement to the Output Interpreter "show running-config" analysis, combined with the rest of the tool's library of supported output analyses, will help you troubleshoot and better understand your device and its configuration.
To take advantage of this enhancement, simply paste the output of a "show running-config" command into the Output Interpreter, and you will receive a report including the following:
- Security posture review
- VPN configuration check
- Customized list of the configured commands with links to the Command Lookup Tool

CCIE Central - UPDATE:
CCIE Certification Earns Top Ranking from CertCities.com
CertCities.com, an online publication for certified IT professionals, recently named the hottest IT certifications for 2005 and released the results of their annual readers' choice awards. Cisco career certifications once again figured prominently in both rankings.
Each year, the editors of CertCities.com combine information on readers' intent to pursue certifications, with a "buzz" score reflecting general enthusiasm for a certification in the industry as a whole. CCIE certification once again earned the top spot as the Hottest Certification for 2005, after debuting in the top spot in 2003 and placing second last year.
Several Cisco certifications also won CertCities.com readers' choice awards, including:
- CCIE certification -- Most Respected High-Level Certification
- CCSP certification -- Fourth in Hottest Certification for 2005
