Cisco Output Interpreter - UPDATE:
Output Interpreter Now Integrated with Command Lookup Tool

The Cisco Output Interpreter will now explain your router or switch IOS configuration by linking commands in the configuration to the Cisco Command Lookup Tool. The Command Lookup Tool will provide a description of the command, an explanation of the keywords, and a configuration example.

This enhancement to the Output Interpreter "show running-config" analysis, combined with the rest of the tool's library of supported output analyses, will help you troubleshoot and better understand your device and its configuration.

To take advantage of this enhancement, simply paste the output of a "show running-config" command into the Output Interpreter, and you will receive a report including the following:

  • Security posture review
  • VPN configuration check
