Networking Professionals Connection - UPDATE:
New Rating System, Upcoming Events
Networking Professionals Connection is an interactive Website where you can discuss Cisco networking products and technologies with Cisco experts and networking professionals around the world. This month, the site has a new rating system and five "Ask the Expert" events to announce.
The NetPro rating system is designed to acknowledge Networking Professionals Connection members who contribute to the community and to help all members find high-quality information faster. When a member posts information, other members can rate that post's usefulness. The higher the rating, the more points the posting member earns. These points translate into stars. Posts by "star" members are specially marked, and high point earners are recognized on the Website as "Top NetPros." All members can benefit by focusing both on posts with high ratings and posts from "star" members.
Networking Professionals Connection recently updated the point-to-star formulas to further recognize its most valued members. The new formulas are as follows:
- Red: 2,250 points and above
- Blue: 1,500-2,249 points
- Gold: 750-1,499 points
- Silver: 250-749 points
- Bronze: 100-249 points
