Cisco Output Interpreter Tool - UPDATE:
Output Interpreter Now Incorporates Stack Decoder Functionality
The Cisco Output Interpreter tool provides an instant, online analysis of the output from more than 100 key "show" commands, now including
"show stack." Next time you encounter an unexpected reload, paste the output of "show stack" into the Output Interpreter's text field. The tool will compare your output to the Cisco TAC's database of known bugs, then list bugs that may have caused the reload.
You may be aware that the Cisco Stack Decoder tool also provides this functionality. Because both tools now do the same thing, we plan to remove the Stack Decoder page from the Cisco TAC Web Site on December 6, 2002. From that point on, make sure to use the Output Interpreter for stack decoding.
But there's no need to wait -- give the Output Interpreter's
new "show stack" support a try today:

Cisco TAC Web Seminars - UPDATE:
Updates to Voice, Router, and IP Routing Protocol Seminars
The online Cisco TAC Web Seminars offer the best way to learn about using the redesigned Cisco TAC Web Site. These free seminars will show you how to navigate the site to access technical tips, sample configurations, field notices, software documentation, and online utilities such as the Cisco Bug Toolkit and the Cisco TAC Case Open tool.
Our three updated seminars are:
- "Using the Cisco TAC Web Site for Voice, Telephony, and Messaging Issues" -- This seminar follows the typical life cycle of an IP telephony installation. Learn where to find TAC Web tools and documents for planning and design, implementation, troubleshooting (one-way voice issues, no ringback, fax troubleshooting), and operational issues (Cisco CallManager service crash, Structured Query Language replication).
- "Using the Cisco TAC Web Site for General Router Issues" -- This seminar will show you how to find information to resolve router hardware, software, and maintenance issues. Learn how to troubleshoot memory problems, system crashes, high CPU utilization, and error messages.
- "Using the Cisco TAC Web Site for IP Routing Protocol Issues" -- This seminar demonstrates how to use TAC Web tools and technical documentation for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP routing protocols. Learn how to find resources for verifying network address translation operation, IP addressing, subnetting, and much more.
Register for a live or on-demand seminar today at the Cisco TAC Web Seminars site:

CCIE® Central
CCIE Network Security Certification - UPDATE:
Worldwide Testing Centers Now Offer Network Security Certification
The CCIE program now offers CCIE Network Security certification in lab testing centers worldwide. This certification gives you an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise, and can serve as an alternative to other CCIE designations toward fulfilling Cisco partner requirements.
In the CCIE Network Security lab examination, candidates must successfully secure an enterprise network, implementing firewalls, intrusion detection, authentication servers, routers, and switches. Candidates must also configure network devices to interact with pre-configured systems running authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA), certification authority, and Cisco Secure Intrusion Detection System.
Visit the CCIE Web site for details about CCIE Network Security certification:
