Affected Products Are Power Adapters in Use with Cisco 826, 827, 827-4V, and SOHO 77 ADSL Routers

Cisco Systems, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and other international safety authorities, has announced a worldwide recall of power adapters for certain Cisco ADSL routers. Cisco is urging customers to discontinue use of the recalled power adapter, unplug the unit, and order a replacement adapter through the Cisco.com Web site. IP Telephony Case Study - NEW:
Deploying VoIP with WAN Integration

The Cisco TAC has posted a new case study detailing the IP telephony deployment at the National Bulletin (NB) in Singapore.

"IP Telephony Deployment: National Bulletin Singapore" shares the experience of installing a voice-over-IP (VoIP) network in a five-story, 750-employee building. The VoIP network interconnected with nine virtual LANs (VLANs) and was integrated into three different types of voice gateways in the NB network: PSTN, voice mail, and legacy PBX.

This case study provides additional information about improved IP telephony design in the "Lessons Learned" section, which is based on the TAC cases that arose during the NB VoIP deployment.
