Specialized Partner - Points

NOTE: Enhanced Channel Partner Program Rules:

  • During the first year of the transition, March 2006 through March 2007, you could achieve new specializations as your retired specializations expired and certifications were renewed under the previous program. Partners could only hold a single specialization in any given technology.
  • As of March 1, 2007, new certification requirements apply. New requirements will take effect upon a partner’s next certification anniversary that falls on or after this date. Certification will no longer use a points-based model.

Specializations points are based on the complexity and strategic value of a particular technology, its maturity in the product lifecycle, and the market opportunity. Cisco reserves the right to change point values according to this criteria:
