Achieving the Cisco Advanced Routing and Switching Specialization helps maximize partner credibility with customers, enabling them to deliver skilled technical services and a scalable, reliable network solution. The Advanced Routing and Switching Specialization focuses on the entire suite of Cisco core, edge, and aggregation technologies and products, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), IPv6, Quality of Service (QoS), the Cisco Integrated Services Router family, and the Cisco Catalyst family of blades and switches.

Note: Partners can hold only one specialization in a given technology. For example:

• A partner cannot hold both a Routing and Switching and an Advanced Routing and Switching Specialization.
• If a partner achieves an Advanced Routing and Switching Specialization before the expiration of their current Routing and Switching Specialization, the older specialization will be rendered invalid.
