Process Overview

The partner process is designed to ensure the success of our AXP development partners by providing an appropriate level of interaction and communication with Cisco representatives to address any business and technical issues.

Process Developer Solution and Select Partners
Evaluation
  1. Review Cisco AXP information.
  2. Submit an evaluation request online.

    Email ask-axp-pm@cisco.com or contact your Cisco or channel account team for assistance.
  3. Upon acceptance, you will receive the software development kit, an evaluation key, and login credentials for the Cisco AXP developer portal.
  4. Obtain technical support through the Cisco AXP developer portal.
  1. Review Cisco AXP information.
  2. Request and submit a solution opportunity document via email.
  3. Upon acceptance, you will receive instructions on obtaining the software development kit, an evaluation key, login credentials for the Cisco AXP developer portal, and information about obtaining Cisco AXP software and hardware.
  4. Obtain technical support through the Cisco AXP developer portal.
Application
  1. Email ask-axp-pm@cisco.com or contact your Cisco or channel account team to help you submit a Cisco AXP developer questionnaire.
  1. Apply to the Cisco AXP category in the Cisco Technology Developer Program
  2. Complete business case or business plan.
  3. Submit a completed business case or business plan by e-mail.
Approval
  1. Cisco review is typically completed within 5 to 10 business days of application. Approval e-mail will contain instructions on acceptance.

  2. Partner Business Commit of business case / plan
Acceptance
  1. Sign AXP Developer Agreement
  2. Join Cisco Developer Services Program.
  3. Obtain production authorization file.
  4. Purchase additional hardware, software, and training.

  2. Subscribe to Developer Services
  3. Receive production authorization file
  4. Purchase additional hardware, software, training
