Data Center Unified Computing Requirements


To earn Data Center Unified Computing Authorized Technology Provider (DCUC ATP) Partner status, a partner must fulfill each of the following defined job roles:

  • Systems Engineer Note: Prerequisite is NOT required for the DCUC ATP Systems Engineer role.
  • Field Engineer Note: Prerequisite is NOT required for the DCUC ATP Field Engineer role.

Note:Role sharing guidelines for ATPs are unique and specific for each ATP program. These guidelines sit outside of the role sharing guidelines used for specializations and certifications, allowing a partner to utilize roles that have already been assigned in one or more specialization or certification programs. One individual may not fulfill more than one job role within the DCUC ATP Program. All persons filling roles must be employees.



Systems Engineer (SE): (Minimum of 1 required.)
The Systems Engineer (SE) will help customers plan, design, acquire, configure, implement, and integrate the systems required to support Cisco DCUC. The SE is a key member of the account team and is responsible for helping to ensure the highest level of technical account management. The SE assists customers with design, configuration, implementation, and integration of the Cisco DCUC System.

  • Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design 642-982 (DCUCD)(TRN-DCUCD - 3.0)

Field Engineer (FE) (Minimum of 1 required.)
The FE performs deployment, support, and troubleshooting duties for the systems required to support Cisco DCUC solutions.

  • None

  • Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Implementation 642-983 (DCUCI)(TRN-DCUCI - 3.0)
