TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote Authorized Technology Provider Requirements

To achieve a Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS (Managed Services) Remote Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) certification, partners must fulfill each of the following job roles:

Account Manager
Systems Engineer
Field Engineer
Program Manager
Installation Technician

Note: The Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP Partner may satisfy your role requirements by taking full advantage of resources from the Cisco TelePresence Video Master Host ATP region in which you apply. This role sharing is applicable for only the same roles between the Cisco TelePresence Video Master ATP Host and the Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP within the same region. Roles in other regions must be fulfilled by different individuals.

The personnel requirements identified in the following sections are minimum requirements to qualify for the Cisco TelePresence Video Master – MS Remote ATP. One (1) individual may not fulfill more than one (1) job role within the Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP. Persons filling roles must be employees or contractors of the partner organization.

For the purposes of applying to this program, all individuals should have a Cisco.com identification associated to the applying partner location. We understand that individuals may be represented globally or even live in separate locations, but for tool and operational efficiency each person will need Cisco.com identification, with corresponding exams associated to the applying company. The ATP Partner may fill these roles with existing employees. The ATP Partner does not need to hire additional personnel for these roles.

It is important to state that in the Cisco defined region where the Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP Partner has met the pre-requisite Cisco TelePresence Video Host ATP requirements, the Partner is allowed to use and share the required roles to achieve your Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP Authorization in this location. This applies only when the resale Cisco TelePresence Video Master Host region and Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP region are identical.

The Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP Program requirements are as follows:

Account Manager (AM)

A minimum of one (1) account manager (AM) is required. The AM is responsible for handling the account management and pre-sales tasks necessary to recognize opportunities and to sell the Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote solution.

Responsibilities include:

Demonstrating Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote applications
Articulating the Cisco TelePresence Video Master architecture
Preparing technical responses to requests for proposals (RFPs)
Providing sales support for installed customers

Systems Engineer (SE)

A minimum of one (1) systems engineer (SE) is required. The SE is responsible for ensuring EOA (Experience Order Assurance) process including room validation and network assessment are completed and submitted for all sites at the time the order is placed.

Responsibilities include:

Helping customers to plan, design, acquire, configure, implement, and integrate the systems required to support Cisco TelePresence Video Master - MS Remote ATP solutions
Being a primary member of the account team and helping to ensure the highest level of technical account management

Field Engineer (FE)

A minimum of one (1) field engineer (FE) is required. The FE is an expert at in-depth technical aspects of Cisco TelePresence endpoints, infrastructure products, and software associated with the Cisco TelePresence Video Master solution

Responsibilities include:

Assisting customers directly, or guiding additional resources through the installation and support of Cisco TelePresence Video Master products
Providing problem determination, analysis, and resolution

Project Manager

A minimum of one (1) project manager (PM) is required. The PM will provide pre-sales project management support for all Cisco TelePresence-related activities as defined by the Cisco TelePresence Video Master- MS Remote ATP Program.

Responsibilities include coordinating the sale, installation, logistics, and implementation of Cisco TelePresence Video Master products to the customer sites.

Installation Technician

A minimum of one (1) installation technician (IT) is required. The IT is an installation engineer responsible for technical support for all Cisco TelePresence Video Master – MS Remote ATP activities as part of the Cisco TelePresence Video Master – MS Remote ATP program.

Responsibilities include coordinating and performing installation of the physical hardware of the Cisco TelePresence Video Master solution, including cameras, codecs, cables, monitors, and furniture.

Note: In supporting the Master - MS Remote solution this role may be filled by a contractor. However, successful installation requires more than the minimum of one IT contact and it is highly recommended to have more trained Installation technicians on site.
