  1. The "Get Connected" Campaign is intended to provide Cisco customers with the opportunity to opt-in to its communications.
  2. The Campaign is managed by the Cisco EMEA Service Provider Marketing Team and was designed to increase the number of active records in our database.
  3. The Promotion is only open and offered to Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russian employees of Cisco Partners.
  4. The Promotion is not open to part-time employees, agency personnel or contractors of any Participating Company. Individuals must remain employed at their Participating Company to remain eligible for the Promotion.
  5. In order for customer company employee to qualify for the prize, Cisco requires that the Individual Participants agree to be contacted by Cisco e-mail.
  6. The Promotion will reward one (1) Individual Participant, employee of a customer Company, with two (2) passes for Cisco Live! in London (30 January 2012), including flights from their original location to London (if necessary) and accommodation.
  7. The participant will be randomly selected from a raffle, to be held around the 7th November 2011.
  8. The participant doesn't need to make any specific purchase to win. A purchase won't improve the participant's chances of winning. At the date of the receipt of the e-mail, the participant hasn't won anything.
  9. It is acknowledged and agreed that the rewards will not be in cash, and that they will rather be in the form of non-transferable or exchangeable Cisco Live! passes, flights and accommodation bookings.
  10. This Campaign shall commence on the 13th September 2011, around 07.00 (GMT) and continue thereafter until 4th November 2011, around 23.59 (GMT), unless sooner terminated.
  11. Cisco reserves the right to modify or terminate the Promotion at its discretion with thirty (30) days prior notice to the participants.
  12. Cisco reserves the right to cancel or modify this Promotion as determined by Cisco in its sole discretion. Any modification of these Terms and Conditions shall be communicated to the Participants by regular mail or e-mail.
  13. Cisco reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Promotion should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of Cisco, in the company's sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Promotion.
  14. Cisco may at any time or times without notice to an Individual Participant cancel rewards (without liability to the affected Participant) or set off any liability under or relating to these terms and the Promotion of an Individual Participant to Cisco against any liability of Cisco to the Individual Participant (in either case howsoever arising whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, and whether any such liability is present or future, liquidated or unliquidated). Any exercise by Cisco of its rights under this clause shall be without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to Cisco.
  15. Cisco reserves the right to audit, terminate, suspend, amend, modify, revoke or cancel the Program, including (without limitation) the value of the rebates, the earning or claiming of rebates or eligibility criteria, in whole or in part, for any reason at any time without prior notice. Cisco will act reasonably in communicating with members through email and the website in the event of any Program changes.
  16. Cisco reserves the right to suspend or exclude a member from participating or continuing to participate in the Program if:
    1. In its reasonable opinion the Member materially breaches these Program terms and conditions.
    2. In its reasonable opinion the Member's conduct is inconsistent with the object and intent of the Program or the Program's terms and conditions.
  17. Cisco may in its reasonable discretion cancel all Rewards that have accrued to the Member if the right to participate in the Program is suspended or excluded.
  18. By participating in the Promotion, Individual Participants warrant that they are not prohibited from participating under the laws of the country in which they normally reside and work or operate as well as the laws of the country in which the Participating Company is incorporated and operates.
  19. Individual Participants are responsible for compliance with any and all laws, rules, regulations, employment, contractual limitations, and employer's policies regarding Individual Participant's eligibility to participate and/or receive reward(s) in this Promotion. If an Individual Participant is participating in violation of their employer's policies, that Individual Participant and its employer may be disqualified from this Promotion and/or from receiving rewards. Cisco disclaims any and all liability or responsibility for disputes in law, or arising between an Individual Participant and their employer related to this matter.
  20. Cisco reserves the right to disqualify any Participating Company or Individual Participant (without any liability to the affected Participating Company and/or Individual Participant) to any future reward program campaign or promotion, on the grounds that, at its sole discretion, the Participating Company or Individual Participant participation in the Promotion, receipt of a reward, or the Promotion itself violates English law or the laws of the country in which that Participating Company and/or Individual Participant normally resides and works or operates as well as the laws of the country in which the Participating Company is incorporated and operates.
  21. Cisco reserves the right to disqualify any Participating Company or Individual Participant and cancel (without any liability to the affected Participating Company and/or Individual Participant) all associated rewards if Cisco determines at its sole discretion that the Participating Company or Individual Participant's participation in the Promotion, or receipt of a reward, is in violation of the Promotion Terms, or if the Participating Company and/or Individual Participant is ruled to be ineligible.
  22. The awarding of rewards, prizes or gifts (herein after gifts) are granted exclusively to the participating companies, not any employee in particular. The raffle will select a name, but the customer companies are free to replace that particular individual.
  23. The participating company acknowledges that these gifts may be treated as taxable income and may be considered direct compensation for the purposes of taxation, national insurance or social security contributions (or equivalent taxes or social charges applicable under local law). Participating Companies are solely responsible for any federal, state, provincial taxes, social security, national insurance contributions, social charge or other taxes that may be imposed as a result of receiving Rewards under the Program and the companies will indemnify Cisco for any taxes (whether direct or indirect or otherwise) that Cisco becomes liable for as a result of the company being provided with Rewards and/or prizes pursuant to this Program.
  24. Participating companies acknowledge and agree that Cisco may be obliged under applicable local laws to report to the Company's local tax authorities and/or social charge or contributions agency (or analogous authority), information relating to the Company's participation in the Program, including without limitation, the Rewards accumulated. Liability to such taxation or social charges is the sole responsibility of the Company, and Cisco gives no warranty and accepts no responsibility as to the taxation treatment of the Program, including without limitation, the accumulation of gifts.
  25. Cisco cannot operate the Promotion without processing data supplied by and attributable to the Participants. Such data may include personal data attributable to Individual Participants, Company Sponsor or attributable to the employees of Participating Companies and their contractors. Participants should anticipate that personal data supplied to Cisco will be exported to the U.S. for processing in connection with the Program. Processing of personal data will be required to register Participants and award prizes and will include all incidental processing necessary to operate the Promotion in accordance with these terms. Participants should anticipate that such processing shall be undertaken by Cisco, its sub-contractors and other members of the group of companies to which Cisco belongs. By accepting these terms each Participant consents to the processing of the information and personal data supplied to Cisco as outlined above. Individual Participants further warrant that they have obtained the consent of their employees, and the employees of their agents and contractors to the processing (as outlined above) of personal data attributable to such employees.
  26. Participants grant Cisco and its agents and assignees full permission and authority to use, publish, and display their name, voice, and photograph or other likeness, as well as identifying information such as the name of Individual Participant's employer, for advertising or other related purposes in any media without additional compensation.
  27. The use of the word 'partner' or 'channel partner' does not imply a partnership relationship between Cisco and any other company.
  28. The design and content of the Program, the Program website, any related materials, services and software (including but not limited to text, sound, photographs, graphics or other material contained in the Program communications, advertisements or messages, whether by Cisco or Cisco's advertisers or channel partners) are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents and/or other intellectual property rights and laws, and their use is permitted only as expressly authorized by Cisco or as required by law.
  29. Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable under any applicable law, such provision shall, insofar as it is severable from the remaining terms, be deemed omitted from these terms and shall in no way affect the legality, validity or enforceability of the remaining terms.
