Since 2000, Cisco Networking Academy and USAID have worked together to stimulate socioeconomic development by leveraging Cisco's technological and operational expertise to support USAID's development initiatives. |
USAID and Cisco partnerships have been established in more than 40 countries with a focus on women's advancement, job placement, and ICT accessibility.
Partnership highlights:
- The establishment of 75 networking academies in sub-Saharan Africa
- The provision of instructor training, equipment, and scholarships to benefit 555 girls in 18 academies in seven countries throughout North Africa and Asia
