Cisco Announces New QoS Course and Exam
Cisco is committed to keeping it's portfolio of IP Telephony courses current, enabling IT Professionals and companies worldwide to achieve the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. Cisco is proud to announce the newest addition to the IP Telephony training catalog: Implementing Cisco Qualify of Service (QOS) Version 2.0. The QOS v2.0 course is a five-day leader-led course designed for both Service Provider and Enterprise environments. It provides in-depth knowledge of IP QoS fundamentals, AutoQoS, implementing IP QoS on Cisco IOS switch and router platforms, and conceptual models using Differentiated Services (DiffServ), Integrated Services (IntServ), and Best Effort (over provisioning). Fifteen in-class lab exercises and four case studies give students the opportunity to apply and practice the concepts and techniques presented.
Along with the new QOS v2.0 course, updated exams corresponding to the new QOS v2.0 course will be available on January 29, 2004. The QOS v2.0 course is recommended training for individuals seeking certification as a Cisco Certified Internet Professional (CCIP), IP Telephony Express Specialist, IP Telephony Design Specialist, IP Telephony Support Specialist, and IP Telephony Operations Specialist.
