Cisco Public Access Design Specialist
The Cisco Public Access Design Specialist provides candidates with expertise that couples successful network design techniques using Cisco Broadband Service Manager (BBSM) and Cisco Long Reach Ethernet (LRE) with Cisco Wireless LAN. Together, these solutions deliver cost-effective, high-performance hybrid access to multi-unit (MxU) buildings, enterprise campus environments, and other facilities. Expertise deploying land line solutions using MxU is complemented by wireless access elements of the curriculum including radio technologies associated with WLAN 802.11 standards, access points, bridges, client devices and accessories, basic antenna theory, equipment utility and cable awareness.

Cisco Public Access Design Specialist certifications are valid for two years. To recertify, either pass the current version of the exams, or pass a CCIE written exam on or after October 1, 2004.
