Interesting Facts
- The original structure of the resort estate - the "Cloister" - was built in 1926 by Addison Mizner and reflects Spanish-Mediterranean, Moorish, and Gothic influences.
- The architecture is characterized by hidden gardens, barrel tile roofs, archways, ornate columns, finials, intricate mosaics, fountains, and beamed ceilings of ornate pecky cypress.
- During World War II, the U.S. Army Air Corps trainees occupied the resort, citing the property as "the most elegant barracks in history."
- The Spa Palazzo building is modeled after Spain's Alhambra Palace.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the resort for the Cisco Collaboration Customer Forum. Cisco will pay for hotel accommodations and in-room internet connectivity for October 20, 21, and 22, 2013. You must book your hotel reservations through the conference registration process in order for Cisco to pay these expenses.
Extended Stays
Cisco has negotiated a rate of US$200.00 plus 11% tax, for three days before and three days after the event, subject to availability. Please note: You are responsible for all expenses related to an extended stay. If you would like to take advantage of the conference rate, please let us know on your registration form.
Costs
You are responsible for your air transportation and your ground transportation to and from the airport. Cisco will pay for the hotel room for the nights of October 20, 21, and 22, 2013, including taxes, in-room internet connectivity, and conference meals. Attendees are responsible for payment of incidental expenses and any additional nights.

You are responsible for your air transportation and your ground transportation to and from the airport. Travel distance to the resort from Miami International Airport is approximately 45 miles. Alternatively, Fort Lauderdale International Airport is approximately 28 miles from the resort.
Parking
Boca Raton Resort and Club valet parking is US$27.56 per day and includes in and out privileges.
