What an exciting time to be part of the Cisco Networking Academy Program as we observe the 10th Anniversary of the program!
Academy Conference 2007 is the perfect opportunity to update you on the strategic direction of the program and how we are positioning the program to address one of the major challenges facing us today, economic competitiveness in America. Now more than ever the spotlight is on education as a critical factor in addressing economic competitiveness in our nation and it seems to be one of the few things that educators, government and business leaders seem to agree on as a critical focus.
In the past year you’ve received a number of communications about the strategic direction of the Networking Academy program. The new CCNA products reflect more than a year of listening and responding to our customers' needs and expectations. They also signal our intentional shift away from a one-size fits all approach in the program, to a clear focus on customer segmentation. In addition we are releasing new versions of our popular IT Essentials I course and our CCNP course series, as a result of updates to technologies and certification changes.
And did we mention it's our 10th Anniversary! We'll have both exciting and fun materials to share with you at this year's conference as well as suggestions for ways you can leverage this milestone in your local Academies and communities. 10th Annivesary Shirt purchases for the Academy Conference 2007 are no longer available, but the Cisco store will be on-site so you have an opportunity to purchase other fun items!
Professional Development
The conference will offer valuable technical and program sessions, as well as opportunities to learn more about instructional best practices. In addition, one of the greatest values of the conference, according to our instructors and administrators, is the occasion to network with other educators, IT professionals, Cisco staff and the Academy team.

- Schedule Sessions - This year you have the opportunity to select your sessions while you are registering for the event. If you choose to select your sessions after completing registration, you may come back to do so via My Account (enter the username and password created during registration). We recommend you register for your sessions as soon as possible so that you may be able to secure a seat in all of your preferred sessions.
