The 642-998 DCUCD Designing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing exam is associated with the CCNP DC certification and with the Cisco Unified Computing Design Specialist. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge of designing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing, including design concept in a server virtualization environment, scalability, reliability, performances, management.

642-994 DCUCI

The 642-994 DCUCI Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Systems Implementation exam is associated with the DCUCI certification. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge of implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing systems. Candidates can prepare for this exam by taking the Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Systems Implementation (DCUCI) course.

642-999 DCUCI

The 642-999 DCUCI Implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing exam is associated with the CCNP DC certification and with the Cisco Unified Computing Support Specialist. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge of implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing. Concepts like setup of the computing environment in a standalone and rack-mountable configuration, provisioning of storage resources, backup, management functions and deployment of a virtualized environment are covered by this exam.

Complete one of the following recertification options every two years:

  • Re-take and pass all exams for each Specialist certification indicated on the specific certification page. Please note: this includes ALL exams whether refreshed or not.
  • Pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam

Achieving or recertifying CCDE or any CCIE automatically extends your active Specialist certification(s) up to the point of expiration of the last certification achieved.
