The HealthWorks Medical Group of California consists of internists, family practitioners, and nurse practitioners that provide a personalized approach to patient care focusing on your health needs and lifestyle goals.

Prescription medications can be filled through the onsite pharmacy, which is operated and staffed by Walgreens pharmacists. A supply of discounted over-the-counter medications, vitamins and other herbal supplements are also available for purchase.

Provided by VRI, a RadNet Company, the LifeConnections health center offers you convenient access to digital x-ray services. You can bring a referral from any doctor. X-ray is a simple, painless medical test that can help your doctor provide you with appropriate treatment. It's a fast, easy and safe way for your doctor to view and assess conditions ranging from broken bones to pneumonia to cancer. Many different types of x-rays, such as bone or chest x-rays, exist. The type your doctor uses depends on what part of your body needs examining and for what purpose.

X-ray services are available Monday-Friday, 9 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 6 pm with a referral from a doctor. Appointments are not required. For more information, please contact the health center at (408) 424-2000.

The health center provides routine adult and pediatric specimen collections for diagnostic testing and screening. Sometimes special preparation is required to improve the accuracy of a test. This may involve fasting (not eating any or certain foods) for several hours or even overnight, drinking more or less water than usual, or avoiding certain medications or vitamin and herbal supplements before the test. Your physician should provide you with written instructions for preparing for your test. If you did not follow the test preparation instructions you received from your physician, let the staff at the specimen collection lab know about this before your specimen is collected.

Appointments for specimen collection or lab draws are recommended, although we do accept walk-in visits. We accept referrals from outside providers.

Vision care is provided by an in-network VSP optometrist to Cisco employees and their dependents that are eligible for benefits. You can conveniently access the optometrist onsite at the health center and purchase stylish eyewear at the LifeConnections Vision Center, an independent eyewear store located within the health center.

The optometrist focuses on your eyes and overall wellness. She looks for vision problems and signs of other health conditions, like diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol in addition to taking care of your eye site - providing you and your family complete vision services.

Physical therapists have private onsite rehabilitation suites and an exercise room along with full access to the facilities at the LifeConnections Fitness Center for rehabilitation strength training, cardio training, and core conditioning.

You must have a referral from a doctor to use Physical Therapy services.

Acupuncturists aim to restore and maintain health by stimulating specific points on the body.

Acupuncture treatments can be used alone or in combination with other therapies for the prevention and treatment of a variety of health conditions.
