NOTE: Single letter keys are shown capitalized, but you do not have to hold Shift unless it's specified as the Shift key often reverses a keyboard shortcut action. You also don't have to type the plus sign; plus sign just means push the keys on either side of it at the same time.
  1. Navigation of CFN application Using Keyboard.

    1. Sequentially Moving Ahead

      Use "TAB" key in order to move ahead in sequential and logical manner
    2. Sequentially Moving Backwards

      Use combination of "SHIFT" and "TAB" key in order to move backwards in sequential and logical manner
    3. Entering inside the grid

      Use "DOWN" arrow once the focus is on the grid in order to enter inside

    4. Traversing through Grids and Trees

      Use "Arrow" keys (i.e., "Left", "Right", "Up" or "Down") to traverse inside grids and trees as per the requirement.

  2. Keyboard Shortcuts Specific to CFN application.

    1. "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "1"


      Press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "1" in order to Skip To Content and take the current focus to the first content element.

    3. ENTER Key

      1. View Desc

        Press "ENTER" key after selecting the feature of which you want to see the description.

        Press Enter to Add feature to Selected Features List

      2. Corresponding Functions on Text Fields

        Press "ENTER" key after typing the corresponding value in Text Fields (e.g., Filter By, Image Name, Product Code, etc.) in order to perform the intended corresponding function.

      3. Corresponding Functions on Buttons

        Press "ENTER" once focus is on button (e.g., Help, Filter, Continue, etc.) in order to perform the intended corresponding function.

    5. INSERT key

      1. Add The Selected Features

        Press "INSERT" key on "Available Features" grid after selecting a feature in order to add it in the "Selected Features" grid


      2. View The Feature Set

        Press "INSERT" key on any feature showinf up in the feature list of images in the Compare Images Window in order to see the corresponding "Feature Set" info.

    7. DELETE key

      1. Delete The Selected Features

        Press "DELETE" key on "Selected Features" grid after selecting a feature in order to delete it from the "Selected Features" grid

    9. ESCAPE key

      1. Close the Alert Boxes / Windows showing the alert messages


      2. Close the Image Details Window


      3. Close the FeatureSet Details Window

  3. General Keyboard Navigation Shortcuts:

    1. Browser Shortcuts

      1. Alt + Home (Open homepage)
        Browser Home Screen

      2. Ctrl + F5 (Reload and skip the cache, re-downloading the entire website)

      3. F5 (reload page)

      4. Alt + Left Arrow, Backspace (go to previous page; works multiple times)

      5. Alt + Right Arrow, Shift + Backspace (go to next page; works multiple times)

      6. Ctrl + N (Open a new browser window)

      7. Ctrl + T (open a new tab)

      8. Ctrl + Shift + t (reopens the tab you last closed; works multiple times)

      9. Ctrl + 1-8 (Switch to the specified tab, counting from the left)

      10. Ctrl + 9 (Switch to the last tab)

      11. Ctrl + Tab (Switch to the next tab – in other words, the tab on the right. [Ctrl+Page Up also works, but not in Internet Explorer.])

      12. Ctrl + Shift + Tab (Switch to the previous tab – in other words, the tab on the left. [Ctrl+Page Down also works, but not in Internet Explorer.])

      13. Ctrl + W, Ctrl + F4 (Close the current tab)

    3. Commonly Used OS-Level Shortcuts

      1. Alt + Tab (toggle between programs)

      2. Windows button + M (show desktop, i.e., minimize all windows)

      3. Windows button + Tab (show all active windows in task bar)

      4. PrtScn (save screen capture to clipboard; "paste" the image into an image-editing program to make it into a file)

      5. Windows button (opens applications menu)

      1. Ctrl + 0 (Default zoom level)

      2. F11 (Full-screen mode; Press again to Exit Full-screen mode)

      3. Space, Page Down (Scroll down a frame)

      5. Home button (Top of page)

      6. End button (Bottom of page)
