CIAG sponsors a program that allows universities to submit requests for a guest lecturer or adjunct professor in the field of InfoSec/information assurance. Through this program, Cisco employees can share their vast knowledge with your students and provide a real-world perspective on today's InfoSec/information assurance environment. The following application criteria are required to request a guest lecturer/adjunct professor:
- Name of university
- Main contact person at the university
- Possible dates and time for the guest lecturer/adjunct professor
- Topics or course description to be discussed and the length of time allotted the speaker
- Whether the speaker will be talking to a particular class or if this is an open invitation
- University requirements regarding education or experience level required for guest lecturers or adjunct professors
CIAG will make the best effort to accommodate the university request. However, conflicts may arise due to scheduling, product development, deadlines, lack of available qualified personnel and/or travel restrictions. Due to these circumstances CIAG may not be able to accommodate every request.
All submissions should be sent via e-mail to ciag-education@cisco.com.
In the subject line of the email please use the following format: Guest Lecture/Name/University.
