Venkat Pothamsetty

Venkat Pothamsetty, Software Engineer


Background and Biography:

Venkat earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in India and a master's degree in computer engineering from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He helped design and develop the first Internet security course at WSU. His master's thesis is titled "Laboratory Setup for Courses on Internet Security". After completing his master's degree, he joined Cisco, where he worked in the security testing group, STAT, before moving to CIAG.

Research Interests:

His research interests include security testing, security education, control systems and SCADA security, physical security, and secure protocol design and development.
