Principal Investigator: Venkat Pothamsetty Project Description: This research effort aims at analyzing the security posture of various physical security systems and developing best-practice counter measures for physical security networks. Project Impact: Physical security systems and the corresponding networks on which the systems operate form a vital component of infrastructure security. The physical security world is embracing Ethernet at a tremendous pace, yet there has not been much focus on the security aspects of different physical security systems. Vulnerabilities in these security systems can cause damage not only to property but also to human life. Status: In Progress |
