This case study shows how Cisco IT built a conferencing infrastructure that could scale to meet increasing demands. Employees found both Cisco Unified MeetingPlace® and Cisco WebEx™ Meeting Center to be effective meeting tools, and Cisco IT developed an infrastructure to support both.
Results of this new conferencing capability were:
- Reliably supported three million remote meetings (1.4 billion minutes) in one year
- Increased efficiency of partner training
- Reduced air travel expense
- Saved US$2.8 million in travel and hotel expenses for three-day executive seminar
