The Cisco Systems® Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) Innovations Practice focuses on original uses of Internet technology and the efficiencies that can be achieved by using Internet capabilities to transform key business processes resulting in employee satisfaction and productivity, cost-savings, and operational efficiencies.
The IBSG Workforce Management team helps customers meet business objectives using a common set of tools and methodologies grounded in the real-world workforce experience Cisco has gained. For example, Cisco continues to push the envelope with its own workforce optimization initiatives to increase employee productivity in a positive environment, setting stretch goals of US$1 million in revenue per each employee who is enabled by Internet capabilities.
IBSG works closely with clients to help them develop a viable business case and then measures the value of workforce solutions beyond creating the initial Web-centric, self-service environment. This entails recording a baseline of the current environment so that customers can measure their progress and determine if they meet their expected returns.
