We recommend that you use Shanghai Maglev Train. Please note:
Train operates between Pudong International Airport and Long Yang Road
From Long Yang Road, you can transfer to Subway Line 2, which runs westward to People’s Square (5 minutes from Le Royal Méridien)
You may also opt for a taxi, which will cost approximately CNY¥150 (one way) from Pudong International Airport to People's Square in the center of Shanghai. Taxi ride is approximately 50 minutes.

June 18, 2010 - Guided visit to the World Expo
A guided tour for delegates will be provided to the World Expo site. Lunch will be provided for all during the tour. The itinerary will include a tour of leading urban innovation pavilions from Cisco (including executive reception showcase), SAIC/GM (including Connected Vehicle theatre show), The Expo Future Pavilion and to global city pavilions in the Urban Best Practices Area.
All delegates will be provided with a 3-day Expo pass to return to visit additional sites at World Expo the days following the Partnership for Urban Innovation: Global Conference 2010.
Room rates for Le Royal Méridien Shanghai:
CNY¥1,100 for single occupancy
CNY¥1,200 for double occupancy (approximately US$170) per night. This is a discounted group rate. Payment for accommodations is the responsibility of attendees.
Room rates are subject to a 15 percent service charge, which includes one buffet breakfast daily and in-room broadband Internet.
To receive the discounted group rate, please book your reservation through the Partnership for Urban Innovation Global Conference registration site. If you book directly through the hotel, the discount rate will not apply.
Le Royal Méridien accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and JCB. The hotel reserves the right to preauthorize credit cards prior to arrival.
Accommodations for Partnership for Urban Innovation: Global Conference, Shanghai 2010 are held on a group basis. Therefore, cancellations prior to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on June 1, 2010 will not be charged. If you cancel your reservation after 5:00 p.m., PST, on June 1, 2010, you will be charged a one-night cancellation fee. The hotel will refund cancellation charges to your credit card should the room be resold.
