Bart Sweerman Bart Sweerman is a senior director and lead of the Emerging Markets in the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), in the Netherlands, acting as a trusted technology adviser to senior executives at Dutch Global 500 companies as well as in the Dutch central government. His key industry sectors include financial services, energy, consumer packaged goods, transport/logistics, and military. Sweerman is also responsible for the IBSG consultants based in the UK, France, and the Mediterranean region. Prior to joining Cisco, Sweerman spent seven years at Monitor Company, the strategy-consulting firm founded by Michael Porter from Harvard Business School. Sweerman managed Monitor's Amsterdam office and was head of all European recruiting. He worked and lived in the Netherlands, the U.S., the UK, Germany, Abu Dhabi, and India. Sweerman has an MSc in economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and was a Lieutenant in the Royal Dutch Navy. |
