Mohsen Moazami As a member of the Cisco executive staff, Mohsen Moazami is a proven leader with extensive experience in business leadership and technology-enabled business transformation. As vice president of the Cisco® Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), Moazami is responsible for the Emerging Markets vertical (Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Russia, CIS countries, and Africa) and for the Cisco Globalization Centre in Bangalore, India. Moazami is a member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for Cisco's operations across Emerging Markets and Cisco country boards for Brazil, Mexico, and Russia. Moazami is a member of Cisco's Emerging Countries Council, overseeing Cisco's investment and operations across all Emerging Markets, including China and India. Moazami and his team work with senior government leaders to help drive country transformation, improve national competitiveness, and advance the lives of citizens. Moazami participates on the Investment Advisory Council of the Turkish Prime Minister and served as a member of the Strategy Council of the Global Alliance for ICT and the Development of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA-GAID). In Moazami's previous role as global lead of IBSG's Retail/Consumer Packaged Goods/Transportation Practice, his team more than doubled its customer partnerships, with successful engagements in 80 percent of the world's top 10 brands. Before joining IBSG, Moazami was a vice president/senior partner at Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), in charge of the global e-business practice. Prior to KSA, Moazami founded and oversaw the growth of Stanford Business Systems, an ICT software and consulting firm, later acquired by KSA. Moazami recently received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for outstanding achievement and noteworthy U.S. citizenship. |
