How to get engaged

Cisco Research fosters collaborations between the university and the research communities. The three tabs in the section below will help guide you through this site. The first, Some Areas of Interest, describes some broad categories of interest for Cisco. The second, a List of RFPs, shows the complete list of Cisco Business Unit initiated requests for research. We'd especially like to hear from you if you feel you can help in one or more of these topics.

How to get engaged

And finally the third tab highlights the most important section: Suggest a Topic. The best ideas come from you - we want to hear your ideas that will knock us off our feet. Whether you have an idea or a concept that in working with us can result in fundamental advances in networking research, application, network practice and usage. Tell us about your proposals - we would love to hear them!

There are also three topic areas immediately below: The proposals section provides information on how to apply for funding for your projects or peruse our Areas of Interest section for ideas on new projects. Beyond proposals, the Faculty section has a visiting scholar program, a Distinguished Lecture Series as well as many opportunities for more casual interaction with Cisco. Finally the Students section has lecture opportunities as well as scholarships and career programs. By exploring the portals below, university researchers can share their research, propose projects of interest to Cisco, and identify scholarship and internship opportunities for students.
