Cisco Suppliers Participate in UCLA's 2009 Management Development for Entrepreneurs Program
Cisco's Supplier Diversity organization has a long history of supporting diverse suppliers through its developmental and educational programs. Cisco is a corporate sponsor of the UCLA Management Development for Entrepreneurs (MDE) program and has supported diverse suppliers for the past five years.
The UCLA MDE is a program for entrepreneurs and/or executives in existing businesses who desire to develop their management skills to enhance their company's revenues, profits, and market impact. The curriculum includes strategy, financial analysis, operations, marketing, technology, and managerial effectiveness.
Company requirements to attend the program are:
- Been in business for three to five years
- Have a minimum $500,000 in annual revenues
- Want to learn entrepreneurial-focused MBA concepts
This year, Cisco sponsored five registered suppliers to participate in the program.
