MEDI Members Converge on Istanbul This group recently held a five-day Developing Local Talent in Technology (DLTT) workshop at Istanbul Technical University, the world's third-oldest technical university. Participants learned about IP telephony, wireless, network security, and professional development from industry experts.

Growing Cisco’s Business MEDI helps grow Cisco business in the Middle East and Africa by developing local talent to become future Cisco leaders. This task will be achieved by creating a diverse employee base and inclusive culture, using collaboration and networking tools. Supporting Transformation Supporting country transformation and facilitating transformation for business leaders at local levels are part of the MEDI goal. This support will foster economic growth, job creation, a higher standard of living, and social inclusion. Establishing Initiatives MEDI helps establish corporate inclusion and diversity strategic initiatives, Cadence and Communication Initiatives, programs, and other actions to support each strategic priority. What Makes MEDI Most Proud MEDI hosts valuable employee events, including DLTT workshops, such as: DLTT is a highly successful five-day event, where Cisco employees from various locations volunteer their time and travel to support training in Cisco technology. Attendees educate local university student communities, IT professionals, and young entrepreneurs about Cisco technologies, and also offer instruction in soft skills, such as professional development. More than 600 university students have attended DLTT training events in five different countries, obtaining professional development and Cisco technical training. |
