What is it like to work here?
The most important thing about Cisco is its culture. People are extremely friendly and nice and they’ll help you in any possible way. Although you work hard every day, there’s still a great work-life balance.
What is a typical "day in the life" like? What do you spend your time doing?
A typical day at Cisco consists of meetings, working as an individual in sinq with your team and also helping other people to get their job done. It’s all about collaboration and you should expect facing problems which you’re not familiar with and try to solve them as an individual or as a team member.
How do you work together with your team?
Usually each individual is assigned a portion f a project, this doesn’t mean that you don’t get to work on other portions and this fact gives you a great overview of other portions as well as how all of them work in conjunction of others. Also, Cisco is all about team work, you have to be a team player in order to get the job done. You should never forget that what you do affects the team as a whole.
Why did you choose to work at Cisco?
For me personally the culture at Cisco was amazing from the very first moment. As mentioned, people are extremely friendly and helpful and they’ll make you feel at home.
What advice would you give to anyone interested in joining Cisco?
If you’re a team player Cisco is the right place for you.

What is a typical "day in the life" like? What do you spend your time doing?
I spend a lot of time in meetings, but they are extremely helpful in getting me up to speed with the goals that my team and the company are trying to achieve.
How do you work together with your team?
I think our team has a great dynamic – everyone has had different types and levels of experience. In this way, we are able to learn from each other and quickly resolve issues.
Why did you choose to work at Cisco?
I chose to work at Cisco for two reasons. First, because I feel that the type of business that Cisco has it will hugely shape and impact the way people work and live. Second, because the company is so committed to corporate social responsibility - a company as large as Cisco can affect real change and make huge, positive impacts in our society and the world, and I am glad that Cisco is using its resources to make the world a better place.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
My favorite thing about working here is the people – everyone is friendly, nice and supportive, but at the same time competitive and goal-oriented.
