Claire, a Project Specialist for the Central Marketing Organization, Business Marketing Mid-Market group, enjoys each new project handed her way, not only because she is given more responsibility, but because the project is fun. She feels that by joining Cisco, she joined a company that has longevity and can teach her more about the business world outside the classroom. Claire finds that the environment is very welcoming; stating that. “Everyone is always ready to help or answer questions, which is so important in such a fast-paced workplace”.
Kathy Burden, Corporate Communications
Kathy, a Project Specialist for Strategy and Integrated Communications, enjoys helping employees in Corporate Communications get information they need. Working with the New Hire Network (one of Cisco's Employee Resource Groups) is another way Kathy likes to stay connected at Cisco, and Cisco's flexible work schedule is a real benefit in Kathy's life.
Marcie, a Finance Business Analyst in the ICS Operational group has found that Cisco provides many different opportunities and experiences and that the key is to take them. Also, since her team is global, she often finds herself using many different forms of communication in order to collaborate and work effectively. Marcie enjoys meeting many different people with various backgrounds and says, “You never know who you are going to meet next”.

Parisa, a Project Specialist for the Central Marketing Organization Emerging Technologies group, joined Cisco this past summer and is excited that Cisco encourages and allows new employees to make a big impact right from the very beginning. She also has found support from not only her immediate team members but also from colleagues within other areas of Cisco. Parisa has found this useful for her transition into Cisco.

Zoya Fallah, Central Marketing Organization
Zoya, a Project Specialist for the Central Marketing Organization, Mobility Solutions group, enjoys the flexibility that Cisco offers by being able to work from home and set her own schedule. She also has had the opportunity to meet other Cisco employees through collaboration and social events. Zoya looks forward to internal advancement, as there is a lot of opportunity to learn and grow within the company.
Nima, a Project Specialist for the Central Marketing Organization, Business Marketing Operations group, and Alicia Kwok, a Project Specialist for the Central Marketing Organization, Communications group, are both recent new hires. They both attended the Assessment Center (interview process) last fall and found the environment very supportive while at the same time being intense and competitive.
As a new hire, Nima found the two week orientation very helpful in the on boarding process. He also enjoys the very friendly environment at Cisco as well as the teamwork and collaboration he is involved with on a daily basis.
Alicia has found that the people here at Cisco are very nice and they take time out of their day to spend time with you to help with your transition. She finds the work-life balance to be great and enjoys the social groups that allow you to network and meet others within the company.
