Cisco Services Lab Operations (CALO) Co-op

As a lab operations co-op, you will build networks in technical support labs, using Cisco equipment to re-create and solve customer problems.

The Customer Advocacy Lab Operations (CALO) maintains all of the Customer Advocacy labs on the Boxborough (Boston), MA; RTP (Raleigh), NC; Richardson (Dallas), TX & San Jose (San Francisco), CA campuses, as well as numerous remote labs.

Human Resources (HRLP)

Cisco values HR professionals as business leaders who increase shareholder value. We employ MBA and MS interns across a range of HR functions to help provide short- and long-term planning, decision making, and strategic analysis and support. In conjunction with our business partners, Cisco HR members improve organizational effectiveness and productivity across the firm. At the corporate level, Cisco employs HR interns in functions such as Staffing and Recruiting, International Mobility, Human Resource Management Systems, Compensation, and Employee Relations. Our internships serve as a pipeline for filling the full-time program positions.

Human Resources Intern

Interns in the Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLP) will spend 10-15 weeks working on projects which add significant value to Cisco.

The HRLP internship program is designed for the participant to gain:

Experience: HRLP interns will be placed into a core HR role based on their area of interest and business need. They will drive a team-based business strategy project.

Exposure: Located at corporate headquarters in San Jose, California, interns will work and interact with senior leadership, managers, cross-functional teams, and other HRLP interns. To conclude the internship experience, HRLP participants will present their business strategy project analysis and recommendations to senior HR leadership.

Education: In addition to hands-on projects, interns are strongly encouraged to participate in personal development workshops, training, and business seminars often led by world-class subject matter experts.

Please note that the HRLP Intern experience is the primary method for selection into the HRLP full time program.

Finance Organization

The Finance MBA Internship program serves as our pipeline for filling full time positions. Our 10-12 week structured program offers a supported work experience, education of Cisco’s values, products, and culture, as well as exposure to key Finance executives and managers.

Global Supply Chain Management

Global Supply Chain is responsible for taking Cisco innovation from the drawing board to the customer. Whether it’s complex, high-end, configure-to-order products or high-volume commercial goods, we turn ideas into solutions. As part of the Operations, Processes, and Systems team, we are a global organization with employees in more than 17 countries.

The GSCM team has raised the bar for supply chain excellence, but now a new and even more challenging era has begun as we must continue to maintain delivery, improve quality and accelerate supply chain velocity, even as Cisco expands into new technologies, and geographies. In addition, we play an important role in leading Cisco's Green and social responsibility initiatives for our customers and partners. The Worldwide Field Marketing organization is the primary interface between the central marketing organization and field marketing. Worldwide Field Marketing creates marketing programs that generate demand for Cisco products and enable Cisco’s sales force and our channel partners to sell Cisco solutions.

Brand Strategy and Identity

A brand is the total experience customers and stakeholders have when interacting with a company. A company can manage this experience by aligning its brand touch points - people, products, and communications - to create the optimal customer experience.

The Brand Strategy and Identity team offers expertise in brand development and identity supported by market research to help ensure that the Cisco brand is one of the world's best known and respected brands. The team provides brand oversight to ensure brand compliance which includes review of all marketing communications deliverables associated with a campaign from concept to completion, including deliverables.

Strategic Marketing — Strategic Services team

The Strategic Services team is an integral part of the Strategic Marketing Organization (SMO) in CMO. SMO was formed just over 2 years ago by aggregating the “scientific” marketing disciplines into one organization - Market Intelligence and forecasting of Competitive Intelligence), and Customer Intelligence The Strategic Services organization was formed to link with these three disciplines to answer higher-level strategic questions around corporate, market and business unit strategy – acting as an internal strategy consulting firm with access to the deep talent and data pools of SMO.
