Human Resources Leadership Program
Full-time professionals in the Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLP):
- Work in an environment that is dynamic, global, and cross-functional
- Support projects that add significant value to the business
The HRLP is a multiyear, accelerated career program that is designed to develop and enhance your business acumen. You also increase your knowledge of Cisco business and Human Resources operations by participating in multiple assignments.
Program participants rotate through several Human Resources roles, which are determined by the participant’s area of interest and Cisco’s current business needs. Participants also have opportunities to facilitate several team-based projects and complete individual “stretch” assignments that expand the participant’s skill set.
Human Resources Undergraduate Program (HR UP)
Cisco's HR Undergraduate Program is designed to accelerate the early careers of Human Resources professionals by providing recent college graduates with:
- Exposure to the basics of delivering HR services in a dynamic and innovative environment; and
- Broad experience touching strategic initiatives across HR functions and programs.
HR UP begins as a summer internship between your junior and senior year. The internship is packed with meaningful "real" exposure to delivering HR services and working on strategic HR projects. Interns gain exceptional experience and are eligible for an offer for the full-time HR UP upon successful completion of their undergraduate program.
Full-time HR UP participants rotate in two or more roles over a two-year period and are then placed permanently at the end of the program. Along with diverse experience, HR UP participants gain access to HR leaders and are aided by the help of mentors and advocates across Cisco's HR function.
