The Sales Associates Program is looking for top university graduates with great interpersonal and communication skills who are driven to succeed in sales. Goals of the program include to develop the next generation of sales account managers and systems engineers for Cisco as well as to help recent university graduates begin a career with our company. If you are accepted into the program as an associate, you will gain sales, business, and finance skills, as well as an understanding of Cisco networking products and services. As part of the Cisco sales team, you will also learn how the wealth of Cisco networking solutions translates into profitability, competitive advantage, and innovation for our customers.

Associate Systems Engineer (ASE)

Join the Sales Associates Program as an ASE and take advantage of a blend of classroom and guided discovery learning that uses case studies, sales simulations, competitive debates, and field shadowing to develop your ability to articulate business and technical solutions. Start on the track to becoming a Cisco systems engineer today.

University graduate applicants who meet the criteria listed below should be willing to relocate to Raleigh, N.C., or Amsterdam for 12 months, and available to fill any job position according to Cisco business needs.

  • Technical aptitude or expertise
  • Grade point average of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Graduated within the last two years
  • Technical degree with sales aptitude

Associate Sales Representative (ASR)

Start on the track to becoming an account manager at Cisco. Become an ASR in the Sales Associates Program, and you will develop your ability to articulate business and technical solutions. You'll learn using case studies, sales simulations, competitive debates, and field shadowing in a blend of classroom and guided discovery learning.
