Cisco’s Surplus Product Utilization and Reclamation program – know as SPUR – aims to make Cisco the worldwide leader in the reuse and recycling of eWaste. eWaste is the common name of electronic product that are at the end of their "useful life."
In an effort to expand this comprehensive eWaste management initiative, Cisco is offering our customers a new program called the Takeback and Recycle Program. The purpose of the program is to provide Cisco customers a method for properly disposing of end-of-life (EOL) or excess Cisco equipment. Our customers now have a complete solution for managing the use and disposition of their Cisco networks that provides investment protection and commitment to the environment.
