Just the Beginning

Nearly six years ago, I joined the staff of iQ Magazine as a senior editor. Networking and all it enables were new to me. The more I learned, the more I realized how little I knew. Innovation simply moves too fast. Eventually, I got comfortable not having a comfort zone. By the time you're comfortable with a new innovation, the rules have already changed.

Through the years, iQ has provided a window into innovation as it evolves and progresses, highlighting trends within various industries, new applications of networking technology, and best practices that allow organizations of any size to maximize the return on their technology investments. It's been a fun and fascinating endeavor.

So it is with some sadness that I inform you that this Third Quarter 2006 edition marks the last issue of iQ Magazine. After careful consideration, Cisco Systems determined it can better serve SMBs by focusing internal resources on other communication channels to create a more interactive relationship with our customers.

To continue the dialog we've created with iQ, I encourage you to join the new Cisco Innovators program, designed specifically for SMBs. As part of your free membership, you'll receive regular communications through the BizWise or TechWise monthly e-mail newsletters, which include the type of stories you're accustomed to seeing in iQ. You'll also receive invitations to special events and exclusive member offers.

Additionally, you can stay current at the You, Inc. Website, which Cisco frequently updates with news and information that is relevant to SMBs.

iQ's run is ending, but when you consider how short a time networked business practices have existed in earnest, it's clear that this is just the beginning of the network's impact on your success. Innovation doesn't stop, and Cisco continues to focus on delivering innovative business communications solutions for SMBs. That's great news for you and your business.
