Based on the Cisco 2013 VNI report, there will be a projected 55% increase in IP Traffic Mobile, 44% increase in Annual Cloud Workload in the next 3 years, and 50B Connected 'Smart Objects' by 2020; increasing the attacks on the Enterprise Surface.

While the Internet of Everything is creating huge opportunities for organizations that can innovate quickly to capture value and remain competitive, it means IT also needs to step up and adopt a new model: Fast IT. A model that is simple, smart, and secure.  Fundamentally, this model means the approach of using architectures becomes even more important, where Compute, Storage and Network must converge with services assured and security enforced in a mobile-cloud world.

In addition to the technology change, you must also change how IT is organized and where it is focused. Industry observers and many CIOs say it is inevitable that IT’s role will become more of an ‘orchestration’ or ‘broker’, managing services and security, and determining which corporate data must be tended to most carefully. IT would also define which services are acceptable to be consumed commercially. This means an evolution of skills and organization within IT. It also implies that the opportunity and challenge for understanding and meeting the real needs of businesses are ahead of us.

Join us at ASEAN Cisco Connect 2014 to know more about the latest IT trends and meet your fellow innovators who will join you in enabling the Internet of Everything.

MOBILITY

Who Should Attend?
Networking , Video/Collaboration, Security, Business Users

Synopsis

Connecting a mobile experience "your way" without compromise today can make amazing things happen for your business tomorrow. You know that in order for mobility to work well, all the parts have to work together. You need infrastructure and identity. Security and policy. And mobile device management to make it easier to get users onto the network.

Then you need to keep them safe and productive once they get there. You need applications designed and architected to work with mobility. That's why Cisco takes an architectural approach to mobility. We want to save you time and integration costs and make your users happier.

What if you could stop worrying about your mobile infrastructure and start innovating with mobile experiences like learning more about how shoppers shop or how students learn?  That's the big idea behind our Connected Mobile Experiences. It takes you beyond connecting your own workforce. It lets you reach out to your customers and entice them with new experiences. It helps you understand their behavior. Increase their loyalty. Enhance your revenues.

That is what makes Cisco different. Our technology only succeeds if it makes it easier for you to do business. Our success is tied to your success — in mobility and in all things.

Cisco Keynote
Joseph Bradley
IoE Evangelist and Managing Director of the IoE Practice
Cisco Consulting Services

As an IoE Evangelist and the Managing Director of the Internet of Everything (IoE) Practice in the Cisco Consulting Services organization, Joseph M. Bradley is responsible for ensuring the world's top business and public sector leaders understand how to capture their share of $19 trillion in value that IoE will create over 10 years. In this capacity, he leads a team of technology and business consultants who are uniquely qualified to assist CXOs, government leaders, and their management teams to realize the potential of IoE in today's rapidly changing world caused by the convergence of mobile, social, data, and cloud computing.

Bradley was instrumental in developing Launchpad, the next-generation consulting model for Cisco Consulting Services. Launchpad provides a data-driven path to outlining what customers need to do today to capture value from IoE. Further, Launchpad leverages the IoE Practice's proprietary customer research and network analytics to identify dark assets that should be connected to the Internet. Once these things are connected, the IoE Practice enables customers to analyze the new data they produce to create useful information. New processes are then created so that insights are delivered to people where, when, and how they need them to improve the way they work.

Bradley built the foundation for Cisco Consulting Services and the IoE Practice by directing the research and production of Cisco's influential IoE thought leadership titled, "Embracing the Internet of Everything To Capture Your Share of $14.4 Trillion" and "Internet of Everything (IoE) Value Index: How Much Value Are Private-Sector Firms Capturing from IoE in 2013?" This project was followed by further groundbreaking research that showed the total IoE value at stake for both enterprises and public sector organizations to be $19 trillion. This thought leadership was embraced by Cisco starting with the 2013 "Tomorrow Starts Here" corporate brand campaign and later became the rallying point for Cisco to align behind the most significant transformation of the Internet since the Internet was created. With Cisco's backing IoE has now been embraced by the technology industry at large and most of the world's top businesses and public sector organizations.
