Cisco to invest further in Malta
Ruben Azzopardi joins Cisco, responsible for business development in Malta
30 September 2008. Cisco re-confirmed the strategic decision to further invest in the Maltese Market, announcing today the hiring of Ruben Azzopardi.
Ruben Azzopardi joined Cisco to set up the company’s presence in Malta, with the responsibility for customer relationships and business development for Cisco in Malta.

Ruben Azzopardi’s career in the Maltese ICT industry spans 16 years, with expertise in the areas of IT strategy, IT to business alignment, business process reengineering and communications solutions consultancy.
Prior to joining Cisco, he held various key positions in GO plc and its subsidiaries, including Head of IT Operations and Manager, Information Systems. Ruben has been involved in leading software development teams, running IT operations and support, project management, system integration, designing datacenters and being responsible for ISP networks and services. He has also engaged in the business development and sales of large network solutions based on Cisco technologies and of e-government applications.
